How to install and run THINK for cancer research

Firstly, download the UDAgent program from ftp://ftp.mcb.net/pub/dist/misc/ud_agent_setup.exe When this has finished downloading double click the ud_agent_setup icon to start the installation. After the setup program has finished installing it will ask you for a username and password. We suggest using your MCB.NET hostname followed by -mannet (this can be found on your connection sheet) For example fred-mannet. Please remember for security reasons we recommend NOT using your MCB.NET password. A window should then appear like the one below. If not double click the blue oval located on the bottom right of your taskbar.

The 'Control Panel' can be found on the bottom right of the window. It consists of six buttons (in order from left to right) Main, Application, Preferences, Snooze, Help and Minimize. If you click the Preferences button you will be able to setup the program to suit you. The Application button will show you a 3D picture of the molecule it is working on and also a picture of the protein. The Main button will take you back to the screen above.

To register for prizes you will need to make sure all your details are filled out correctly. You can do this by clicking the 'Main' button and then clicking 'View your scores and rewards' whilst online. It will then open a browser which will prompt you for your username and password. When you have entered these you will be taken to your member page where you can edit your profile, change your password etc. You will need to click 'My Member Profile' on the left hand side to enter your details.

All that is left now is to join the MCB.NET team. You can do that by clicking HERE and then click join team in the window that appears.
