Installing your Alcatel ADSL modem, the following instructions should be the same for most operating systems.

Do not plug the modem in yet!

The installation procedure is very straight forward, simply insert the disk supplied with the modem and follow the on screen prompts:

You should be presented with the following

screen 1 - Welcome the Alcatel SppedTouch USB setup Press Next
screen 2 - Software License Agreement fo ... Press Yes
screen 3 - Choose Destination Location Leave the folder unchanged
and press Next
screen 4 - Select Program Folder Press Next
screen 5 - Setup Complete Press Finish

After installation has completed plug the Alcatel ADSL modem into a your USB port on the back (or front) of the PC,  Windows should detect the new hardware and install the drivers for you.  When complete you will be prompted to reboot your PC.

When Windows has rebooted you should see in the system tray the Alcatel icon:

When the modem is ready and has established that the modem is connect and ready to work the icon will turn green:

On the desktop you should see a new dialup icon, open this and enter your username and password, this can be found on your connection sheet, also check the number to be dialed is set as   0,38  (zero comma three eight) and click connect.

You should now be connect to the MCB ADSL service.
