Quake III Arena

How do I connect to and play on MCB.NETS Quake III server ?

Purchase Quake3 arena and install this on your machine. You will also have to download and install the latest point release. This is available from our ftp server click here to be taken there now. The file required is called Q3POINTRELEASE_129h

If, after installing you see various error messages stating couldn't load GL drivers, you will need to re-install the GL drivers from the Quake III CD rom.

To connect to the server you will need to specify the IP address and port number of the server, this information can be obtained by emailing gamesmaster@mcb.net . Also available is the MCB.NET mcb.quake newsgroup, from here you can exchange hints, tips, flames, greets and arrange games with your fellow fragsters.

A password is also required for the MCB.NET server, again this can be obtained by emailing Gamesmaster.
