Configuring Turnpike
| 1, Open the Turnpike program, and find the 'Configure' menu at the top of the window. 2, Select 'Host' and check that your host name is *****.mcb.net (***** will be at the bottom of your connection sheet) 3, Click Ok and then go back to the 'Configure' menu and select 'Service Access' 4, Check that your Nodename is correct (same as your host name), and that there is a password in the appropriate field. It is usually a good idea to retype your password to make sure that it is correct, remembering that it is case sensitive. Make sure that the D.N.S. address are correct, 195.10.96.2 and 194.72.6.52 respectively. 5, Depending on what version of turnpike you are running will
determine whether or not you have a field to enter an IP address in the configure menu. 6, If all the above details are correct then you should be able to connect. 7, If your version of Turnpike did not have an IP address field in the 'Service Access' menu, then please do the following; 8, Minimize Turnpike, and goto the 'My Computer' Icon usually found in the top left hand corner of your desktop, double click on it and select 'Dial-up Networking'. In there, you should find at least 2 icons, one saying 'Make new connection' and 'MCB.NET'. Single click on MCB.NET and select File | Properties. Select the 'Server Types' Tab, and check the following; 9, The type of Dial-Up Server should read; TPK: Turnpike dialler 10, Select TCP/IP Properties and check that you have an IP Address entered and that you have two DNS addresses entered. If they are entered, click OK, if they are not please enter them, they can be found on your connection sheet. 11, Try Connecting , if you are still having problems connecting please contact us for further assistance. |
