The Isle of Man has an indigenous breed of sheep, little and hardy, but of mean appearance with high backs and narrow ribs. The ewes are sometimes polled, sometimes horned, but the rams are always horned, some having as many as 10 horns.
They have been exported to many far flung areas of the world and are quite popular with collectors in Japan.
